I hear it's easier with girls than with boys, so hopefully it won't be too bad.annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621915642420308973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20386655.post-90352631078199757262008-05-27T12:37:00.000-04:002008-05-27T12:37:00.000-04:00I literally potty trained Zachary in one day by of...I literally potty trained Zachary in one day by offering him a reward. It was around easter last year (he was 2 1/2) and he was very much into jellybeans, so I told him that when he used the potty ("made yellow") that he could have 2 jellybeans. Done deal! That was all it took. Maybe you could try that??

becky deanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20386655.post-35963757762960077962008-05-27T09:46:00.000-04:002008-05-27T09:46:00.000-04:00The best thing for Jamethan was plain, old fashion...The best thing for Jamethan was plain, old fashioned thick cotton trainer underwear. I tried the pull-ups on him, but they were too much like a diaper and kept him dry. With no discomfort of a wet bottom, Jamie didn't really care if he went in his Pull-Ups or not. Once he was switched to thick cotton trainer undies, though, he learned very quickly he did NOT like having on wet clothes! (And FYI - it usually takes kids longer to recognize when they have to go "number 2", so even if she gets peeing in the potty down pat, there may still be accidents of the solid variety.)Jenn-Jenn, the Mother Henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01850119465505660438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20386655.post-68792582439486692072008-05-26T21:56:00.000-04:002008-05-26T21:56:00.000-04:00hopefully pull ups work for you..they didn't for m...hopefully pull ups work for you..they didn't for molly...she just thought they were diapers. :(heather honakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397878522228698900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20386655.post-83721018286468653982008-05-26T12:20:00.000-04:002008-05-26T12:20:00.000-04:00I do hope you got a picture of Miss Cora trying to...I do hope you got a picture of Miss Cora trying to dress herself--don't post it, but I'd love to see it. For now, I think she ought to switch to pull-ups and dresses or t-shirts all the time. Then she can pull them off herself, if she has to pee. I only wish they had had pull-ups when you all were little! Love you, and good luck!Toozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11495892080894540783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20386655.post-80430764822801953472008-05-24T21:04:00.000-04:002008-05-24T21:04:00.000-04:00you know what worked for us? my aunt sent molly s...you know what worked for us? my aunt sent molly some "big girl" panties in the mail, and she got so excited! she thought they were cool. we told her if she learned to use the potty, she could wear them. she was trained in less than 2 weeks. i'm only hoping jos will be that easy. :)

good luck!!heather honakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397878522228698900noreply@blogger.com
