WATERWORKS

Not the water park at Kings Island-

One question…

At what point do baby boys stop peeing on you?

Hey girl! Baby Cohen is absolutely beautiful! In answer to your question.....at about 9 months. Chris kept an apron in the nursery for the first couple of months. It was pretty funny. I am glad everything went well for you.

They actually have a "shield" you can get for such things at Babies R Us. Point it down quickly, make sure your hands are warm, and I promise you will learn to be lightning fast with those diaper changes!! haha!

best of luck... it's one of the fun parts of raising boys :)

I will change him this weekend.

I believe Holly was off a little--they keep peeing on you until they are toilet trained, as far as I remember.

I warned you! Get some cloth diapers to use as a shield and you'll be fine. Jamie kept peeing on me until he was out of diapers. The cooler air hitting their nether regions when the diaper comes off seems to set them off.

I haven't been peed on in three years--which means it will happen tonight.

When changing diapers, don't remove the front part until you have the new diaper ready, then quickly switch. Works well for changing only wet diapers. Trickier when the diaper is dirtier, in which case a cloth diaper does the trick--put in on him as soon as you remove the front part of the dirty diaper.

Think of it like Indiana Jones switching out the statue with the bag of sand.

I can just see Geron whistling the "Indiana Jones Theme" next time he's changing Cohen's diaper!

Jim and I are planning on titling our book "Keep It Covered, Poke It Down: A Guide To Raising Boys". The first part is for their baby years, the second is the line you'll repeat a billion and one times during potty training. :)
